BILL BELLAMY BRINGS THE "CRAZY, SEXY, DIRTY" TO SHOWTIME(R) SATURDAY, JUNE 2ND AT 8 PM (ET/PT)

LOS ANGELES, CA - (May 29, 2012) - Bill Bellamy gets CRAZY, SEXY, DIRTY in his new comedy special premiering June 2nd at 8pm on SHOWTIME. From the man who coined the phrase "Booty Call," Bellamy's uncut brand of comedy is edgy, uncensored and always unapologetic. Filmed live at the historic Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, California, Bellamy educates audiences on everything from "making it rain," the Beyoncé/Jay-Z chemistry phenomenon, Lil Wayne's popularity, woman-in-control seductions, the dissection of the "flip flop" culture; "White People News," and sex in a virtual world. Everyone's a target as Bellamy takes it to the comedy limit.

Bellamy's career straddles the worlds of feature film, television and comedy. He first entered the world of stand-up comedy while at Rutgers University, where he entered a male beauty pageant and won after he showcased a hidden talent - comedy. He made his national television debut as a featured guest on "Showtime at the Apollo," which led to a guest-starring appearance on "Def Comedy Jam." Soon after, he starred in his own SHOWTIME comedy special "Booty Call," which became one of the network's top-rated specials. Bellamy has appeared on several episodes of Tyler Perry's "Meet The Browns" on TBS and guest-starred last season on ABC's "Castle" and USA's "Royal Pains." He hosted four seasons of the TV One comedy competition show "Who's Got Jokes?," two seasons of NBC's "Last Comic Standing," and was the host of MTV Jams for five years. His acting credits include films such as "Any Given Sunday," "The Brothers," "How To Be a Player," and "Love Jones." Small screen credits include the FOX series "Fastlane," as well as numerous television appearances. He can be seen this fall starring in the sitcom "Mr. Box Office" and in the upcoming independent comedy "Sleeping Around."
