Justin Bieber to Perform in Front of Live Studio Audience and Answer Fan Questions Live

New York, NY (June 18, 2012) - Two-time Grammy nominated and "MTV Video Music Awards" winner, singer, songwriter and multi-platinum selling superstar Justin Bieber will celebrate the release of his new album BELIEVE during the live 30-minute special "Bieber Live" on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on MTV.

Hosted by MTV News' Sway Calloway, Justin will treat 100 fans in the studio to a live performance and answer fan questions in-studio and via Twitter (using @MTVNews / hash-tag #AskBieber).

Immediately following "Bieber Live," MTV will air the worldwide broadcast exclusive premiere of Katy Perry's new music video "Wide Awake" at 7:53 p.m. ET/PT.

Global phenomenon Justin Bieber's new album BELIEVE will be released on Tuesday, June 19, featuring newly released hit singles "Boyfriend," "Die in Your Arms," "All Around the World" and "As Long As You Love Me."

Believe follows Justin's first Christmas album UNDER THE MISTLETOE (RBMG/Island Def Jam Music Group) - released in November 2011 - which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. UNDER THE MISTLETOE was Justin's fifth release since he first arrived on Island Records/RBMG in November 2009 with My World. My World contained his worldwide debut hit, "One Time," the follow-up "One Less Lonely Girl," and two more chart hits, "Love Me" and "Favorite Girl." With that, Justin became the first solo artists in history to send four songs from a debut album into the Top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 prior to the album's release.
