DISNEY CHANNEL HEADS TO THE BEACH WITH THE WORLD PREMIERE OF "HEARD IT ON THE RADIO" MUSIC VIDEO, FRIDAY, JULY 13 ON DISNEY CHANNEL
Disney Channel salutes summer with the world premiere of the "Heard It On The Radio" music video performed by "Austin & Ally" star Ross Lynch. The music video, which features fellow "Austin & Ally" stars Laura Marano, Raini Rodriguez and Calum Worthy, along with Hollywood Records recording group R5, premieres FRIDAY, JULY 13 during the Summer Adventure episode of "Jessie" (8:30 p.m., ET/PT). The summer beach party rock song is currently in rotation on Radio Disney and is featured on Radio Disney's Top 30.
A clip from the music video is available here.
Beginning Friday, July 13, fans of the single can jam all summer long by visiting www.AustinandAllyVideo.com where they can create their own interactive version of the "Heard It On The Radio" music video by choosing which activities Austin participates in during his day at the beach, everything from volleyball with Ally to lifeguarding with Trish. The "Heard It On The Radio" music video is the first-ever interactive music video from Walt Disney Records and utilizes technology made notable by the video platform, Interlude (Andy Grammer's "Keep Your Head Up" and We The Kings' "Say You Like Me").
"Heard It On The Radio" was written and produced by Aris Archontis, Chen Neeman and Jeannie Lurie, and the music video was directed by Grammy-nominated Matt Stawski (The Wanted's "Lightning," Train's "Hey, Soul Sister"). The music video was produced by Walt Disney Records and filmed on location in Huntington Beach, California.
The song will be featured on the forthcoming Austin & Ally soundtrack from Walt Disney Records, which includes songs from the hit Disney Channel series performed by Lynch.
