ALL-NEW "ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS" EPISODE MAKES U.S. PREMIERE ON LOGO

Special Premieres Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00 PM ET/PT

Viewers' Choice "Absolutely Fabulous" Marathon Starts at 2:00 PM ET/PT Leading Up to Special Premiere

NEW YORK, NY - July 19, 2012 - International athletes aren't the only thing descending on London next week. Everyone's favorite "sweetie darlings" Patsy and Edina return for another "Absolutely Fabulous" special on Logo - and this time they're going to be champions! The third of three new "Absolutely Fabulous" 20th Anniversary Specials will have its U.S. premiere Wednesday, July 25th at 10:00 PM ET/PT on Logo.

In this latest "Absolutely Fabulous" special, Eddy (Jennifer Saunders) has rented out her house to a Hollywood A-lister for the summer, but of course, she's still living in it, along with her daughter Saffy (Julia Sawalha), her mother (June Whitfield) and her assistant Bubble (Jane Horrocks). Hijinx of the highest level ensue as the sporting fever gets the best of all involved and Eddy and Patsy make an unplanned appearance at the stadium. Helping stir the pot are Eddy's ex-husband Marshall (Chris Ryan) and his American girlfriend Bo (Mo Gaffney) who whirl into town for the spectacle. The special also features a guest appearance by Stella McCartney.

In a lead up to the special, Logo will run a marathon of the top 10 most popular "Absolutely Fabulous" episodes as voted on by viewers. Fans can go to Logo's Facebook page now to cast their votes. The winning episodes will air starting at 2:00 PM ET/PT on July 25th.

Twenty years ago the world was introduced to Edina (aka Eddy), Patsy (aka Pats) and Saffron (aka Saffy). It has never been quite the same. Eddy "PR'd things." She was into every new fad and fashion imaginable and was often to be found at the bottom of a champagne glass, actually more likely a bottle. Not much has changed. Her best friend Patsy worked in magazines and lived the high life. She still does. Eddy's daughter Saffy was hard-working, all but ignored by her mother and hated by Patsy. Eddy's mother was and is, well, her mother.

The "Absolutely Fabulous" 20th Anniversary specials are written by and starring Jennifer Saunders ("Edina Monsoon"), with Joanna Lumley ("Patsy Stone"), Julia Sawalha ("Saffy Monsoon"), Jane Horrocks ("Bubble") and June Whitfield ("Mother") returning in their iconic roles.

"Absolutely" Fabulous is a Saunders and French production for BBC, co-produced by BBC AMERICA and Logo.
