THIRTEEN MODEL HOPEFULS ANNOUNCED FOR THE FIRST-EVER "AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL: COLLEGE EDITION" PREMIERING FRIDAY, AUGUST 24

Models Compete for a Career-Launching Prize Package That Includes Nylon Magazine, Nine West and Smashbox Cosmetics

July 30, 2012 (Burbank, Calif.) - The latest edition of "America's Next Top Model," created and hosted by Tyra Banks, returns with the first-ever "College Edition" on Friday, August 24 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) on The CW.

Thirteen participants from all walks of life and learning institutions, from universities to trade schools, will battle it out to earn the prestigious title of "America's Next Top Model" and compete for a career-launching prize package that includes a fashion feature in Nylon Magazine, as well as $100,000 cash and campaigns with Nine West and Smashbox Cosmetics, in addition to a modeling contract with LA/NY Models and being named the face of the "America's Next Top Model" perfume Dream Come True.

"America's Next Top Model" is bringing on new, top fashion talent this cycle. In addition to famed stylist Johnny Wujek as photo shoot creative consultant, the show is also introducing its first-ever social media correspondent, top fashion blogger Bryanboy. Bryanboy will use his extensive knowledge of both fashion and social media to mentor the models and highlight the scores, comments and video messages from the viewers that will be revealed in the show during judging. Also lending his expertise to the show this cycle for multiple episodes will be dancer and choreographer Jonte, who will work with the models as the movement mentor. He will be tasked with helping the women bring out their charisma in the various challenges and photo shoots.

In addition to the panel of judges, which includes Banks, fashion public relations maven Kelly Cutrone, and new judge, former boxer and international male supermodel Rob Evans, fan voting will play a factor in who stays and who goes in the competition. Over the course of production, fans had numerous opportunities each week to vote online, through social media and via mobile, to choose their favorite contestants based on photo shoots taken during production. These scores were added to scores from Banks and the judges to help determine who was eliminated throughout the cycle. Also, in a new twist, the girls who have already been eliminated were given the opportunity to return to the competition via votes on their photo shoot pictures, which allowed the audience the chance to save their favorite model. Fans will have to tune in to see how their votes impacted the competition when the show returns Friday, August 24th.
