AMERICA VOTES TO GIVE THE COACHES AN OPTION TO JOIN THE "BIG BROTHER" GAME AS HOUSEGUESTS - AND THEY ACCEPT THE OFFER!

Coach Twist Resets the Game, Saving Joe and Frank from Eviction

During last night's LIVE BIG BROTHER broadcast, Julie Chen surprised the Houseguests by revealing that America voted to give the coaches an option to join the game. The coaches were immediately called into the diary room, one at a time, to vote on whether or not to accept the offer. The coaches made the decision to no longer compete as coaches and to immediately start competing as Houseguests for the $500,000 grand prize.

Once the results of the vote were revealed, Julie further explained that the game would be reset, saving both Joe and Frank from possible eviction.

The Houseguests then competed in the "Walk the Plank" Head of Household competition, where they each had to stand on an individual plank while holding onto a rope as the ship moved and harsh weather conditions invaded. The Houseguest who remained on their plank the longest, thus clinching the HOH, will be revealed on Sunday, August 5 (8:00:30-8:59:30 PM ET/PT).

BIG BROTHER is broadcast three nights weekly, Sundays (8:00:30-8:59:30 PM, ET/PT), Wednesdays (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) and the LIVE eviction show, hosted by Julie Chen, Thursdays (9:00-10:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT).

BIG BROTHER follows a group of people living together in a house outfitted with more than 52 cameras and 95 microphones recording their every move, 24 hours a day. Each week, the Houseguests will vote someone out of the house. At the end, the last remaining Houseguest will receive the grand prize of $500,000.
