Exclusive: Syfy to Debut "Lake Placid: The Final Chapter" on Saturday, September 29

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- Syfy will close the books on the "Lake Placid" franchise when "Lake Placid: The Final Chapter" premieres Saturday, September 29 at 9:00/8:00c.
Elisabeth Rohm, Robert Englund and Yancy Butler star in the telefilm, in which Englund plays Jim Bickerman, a poacher looking to score a big break on hides and eggs from the rare crocs. Rohm then plays the latest Sheriff tasked with stopping the ensuing rampage.
Don Michael Paul directed for UFO Films.
The channel's previous efforts - "Lake Placid 2" (April 2007) and "Lake Placid 3" (October 2010) - are two of its most-watched Saturday movies, each delivering 3.12 and 3.00 million viewers, respectively.
