In each show, a skeptic or 'mark' has been chosen to embark on a journey that will challenge their cynicism when they arrive at Destination Fear! With the help of a close friend or family member 'accomplice' the Destination Fear team puts the 'mark' through a series of meticulously staged events to bring these tales to life. Finally, when the 'mark' is scared out of their wits enough to doubt all their pre-conceptions and beliefs, they're told it's OK; their journey is over - they are now at Destination Fear. Then we bring out the friend who set them up - and the two share their surprising reactions to the experience!
