HGTV's new series "Buying and Selling" premieres August 29th at 9pm ET/PT.

Buying and Selling

Join the Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott, as they help homeowners sell their current home and buy a new property in HGTV's new series, Buying and Selling. Jonathan renovates the family's current home for a successful sale, while Drew checks out the best options for the family's new property. Drew then oversees the selling of the renovated home and the buying of a new house.

Premieres Wednesday, August 29th at 9pm on HGTV.

Episode Description: "Marie & Robert"

Caught between their new professional lives and their old student lifestyle, quirky accountants Robert and Marie may be ready to move on but their disheveled home is holding them back. With water damaged floors, confused rooms, and a master bath turned storage area, the property is unsellable. In order to leverage its value, Jonathan comes up with a plan to breathe fresh life into the home. A single tile proves to be a costly setback, and when Drew finds them a rare showpiece, the couple gambles on a short sale to land a great new home.

September 5th at 9pm on HGTV

Episode Description: "Julie & Blake"

With three babies under three, Julie and Blake have outgrown their current home and desperately need more room. They're hoping to find a spacious one-story property with plenty of perks. But unless they update their house and sell it at top dollar, they won't be going anywhere. When Jonathan unveils the long list of renovations, the couple is daunted by the cost and scope of overhauling the property. Drew's search for the family's new home eventually yields a few gems, but not before a hidden hazard sends them packing.

September 12th at 9pm on HGTV

Episode Description: "Janna & Michael"

With three kids and a hectic schedule, working parents Janna and Michael are desperate for more space. They've outgrown their starter home and urgently need a bigger house. But unless they revamp their cramped kitchen, chances are they'll be staying right where they are. Drew and Jonathan unveil a plan for the ultimate property swap, and although Janna is defensive about their feedback at first, the couple agrees to a strategic overhaul. Jonathan makes dramatic changes that make the house sparkle. Meanwhile, Drew finds a perfect suburban home that fits the bill, but is out of the couple's price range and preferred neighborhood.
