Witness Again the Pomp and Circumstance of the Royal "Mare-iage" September 8

The Hub TV network, a television network for kids and their families, invites viewers to an encore presentation of the "bridle" event of the year - the special two-part royal wedding episode of pop culture phenomenon "My Little Pony Friendship is Magic" Saturday, September 8 (10-11 a.m. ET) from Hasbro Studios.

The original presentation of the two-part wedding episode was met with unprecedented excitement and fanfare and set audience viewing records for the network, delivering best-ever audience numbers in the history of The Hub among key demographics of Kids 2-11, Kids 6-11 and Households. The series continues to boast a passionate fan base that is both large and diverse.

In the two-part episode "A Canterlot Wedding," the kingdom is in a frenzy preparing for the wedding of Princess Celestia's niece, Princess Cadance, to Twilight Sparkle's brother, Shining Armor. However, Twilight Sparkle discovers a dark secret about the bride that could ruin her brother's "happily ever after."

Viewers who want to relive the magic of the "mare-iage" of Princess Cadance to Shining Armor will also have an opportunity to revisit the popular royal wedding mini-site, Hubworld.com/royalwedding, that features six, interactive wedding-themed games based on the show's popular characters and a downloadable viewing party pack. The mini-site will be reactivated on Thursday, August 30.

"My Little Pony Friendship is Magic" follows the studious young unicorn Twilight Sparkle and her five pony friends as they teach one another about the most powerful magic of all, the magic of friendship! " The animated series is currently presented on Saturday mornings at 10 a.m. ET on The Hub.
