FOX to Carry Game 6 of NLCS in Primetime on Sunday, Bumping Animated Comedies
By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The San Francisco Giants kept their World Series chances alive with a victory against the St. Louis Cardinals last night.

And with the Detroit Tigers already having their spot reserved in the Fall Classic, FOX will carry the game in primetime this Sunday beginning at 7:00/6:00c.

Said coverage was originally slated to begin at 4:30/3:30c to avoid conflict with a potential Game 7 of the ALCS on TBS. With the ALCS already decided, a previously announced contingency shifts Game 6 of the NLCS to a nighttime start.

In short: the new episodes of "The Cleveland Show," "The Simpsons," "Bob's Burgers," "Family Guy" and "American Dad" previously scheduled for this Sunday won't be airing.

Furthermore, due to other scheduling issues - Game 4 of the World Series on October 28 and a two-hour "X Factor" special on November 4 - most of said group won't air again until November 11.
