B TEAM, THE (FOX, New!) - Jake Johnson ("New Girl") and Max Winkler ("Clark and Michael") are set to team for a potential new comedy at the network about "five regular underdogs who, sick of getting screwed over, come together and form a real-world version of The Avengers. But, lacking any actual super powers, they must rely on their intelligence and cunning to turn the tables on those who take advantage of the powerless." Said half-hour is set up at 20th Century Fox Television-based Imagine Television with Winkler directing from a script he co-wrote with Johnson. Imagine's Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo will also serve as executive producers. (Deadline.com)


COMMUTERS, THE (FOX, New!) - "The Life & Times of Tim" creator Steve Dildarian has booked a new comedy at the network about "a diverse group of co-workers who are bonded by their daily drive from New Jersey to New York." The single-camera project is set up at 20th Century Fox Television with Shawn Levy, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements of 21 Laps-Adelstein Productions also executive producing alongside Dildarian. LAST SHIP, THE (TNT) - Adam Baldwin ("Chuck") has signed onto the drama pilot, about a global catastrophe that nearly obliterates the earth's population, forcing the crew of a naval destroyer to confront the reality of their new existence in a world where they are among the only survivors. He'll take over for Titus Welliver as Mike Slattery - second in command to Captain Tom Chandler (Eric Dane) onboard the USS Nathan James, a fair man who cares deeply for his family - who had to exit the project due to a family health emergency. Charles Parnell, Christina Elmore, Michaela McManus, Rhona Mitra, Sam Spruell and Travis Van Winkle also star in the Michael Bay-produced hour, from director Jonathan Mostow, writers Hank Steinberg and Steven Kane and based on the novel by William Brinkley. MARATHON TIMES, THE (ABC, New!) - Vali Chandrasekaran ("30 Rock") has sold a new single-camera comedy to the Alphabet about "the black sheep of a small town who gets rich overnight and buys out his family's business, derailing the dreams of his sister." He'll write and executive produce alongside fellow "30 Rock" alum John Riggi for Warner Bros. Television. (Deadline.com)


MARRIED WITH ROOMMATES (ABC, New!) - Bret Harrison ("Breaking In") is set to star in a new multi-camera comedy at the Alphabet about "two very different couples at different stages in their relationships living together under one roof." Dan Levy ("Enlightened") is penning the potential half-hour for ABC Studios and will serve as a co-executive producer alongside Harrison. (Deadline.com)


THE SECRET LIVES OF HUSBANDS AND WIVES (NBC) - Newcomer Olivia Luccardi has scored a role on the drama pilot, "a thriller/dramatic soap about the lingering aftermath of a murder" based on Josie Brown's book of the same name. She'll play India Deaver, "the angry and uncommunicative daughter of Danielle (Perrey Reeves) and Richard Deaver (James Tupper)." Jesse L. Martin, Laura Allen, Martin Henderson and Nicole Ari Parker co-star as the other couples in the Warner Bros. Television-based hour, from writer Sascha Penn, director Mark Pellington and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. (THR.com)


SIRENS (USA) - Isaiah Mustafa will guest on the comedy pilot, about three of Chicago's best EMTs whose sometimes self-loathing, other times narcissistic, and always downright self-destructive personalities make them unqualified for sustaining relationships, friendships and most occupations. He'll play Danny, "a gorgeous new partner for cop Theresa (Jessica McNamee)." Kevin Bigley, Kevin Daniels and Michael Mosley co-star in the Fox Television Studios-based half-hour, which Victor Nelli, Jr. is directing from a script by Bob Fisher and Denis Leary. (TVLine.com)


SMELLS LIKE TEEN SPIRIT (CBS, New!) - Dave Goetsch ("The Big Bang Theory") has sold a potential comedy to the Eye about "an 18-year-old budding entrepreneur who forgoes Harvard and instead opts to launch a multibillion-dollar Internet company from his garage with the assistance of his sister, best friend and his 1990s indie-rock parents." The multi-camera project, which has a put pilot commitment, is set up at Warner Bros. Television. (THR.com)


UNRAVELING (MTV, New!) - Elizabeth Norris's debut novel - about Janelle Tenner, who, after being hit by a car, is convinced she died and that her sexy and mysterious classmate Ben is responsible for her miraculous resuscitation - is being developed as a drama at the cable channel. Kevin Cornish ("Are We Done Yet?") is executive producing the project. (THR.com)


UNTITLED GENE PRESSMAN PROJECT (Logo, New!) - The cable channel is developing a period drama, set during the sexual revolution of the 1970s and '80s, "based on the life of Gene Pressman, the grandson of the founder of Barney's New York department store and its former co-CEO." Pressman himself is attached to executive produce the project alongside Christine Vachon, Dan Levinson, Kevin Turen and Brian Young for Killer Moxie and Tepee Pictures. Brent Zacky and Christopher Willey will oversee the project for Logo. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED MARK CONSUELOS PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Mark Consuelos is set to star in a potential comedy at the Alphabet about "a blue-collar handyman from Queens (Consuelos) who enters the moneyed world of the Upper West Side, where he and his son become part of a non-traditional family unit." Peter Murrieta is penning the ABC Studios-based half-hour with Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan and Milojo Productions' Kelly Ripa likewise attached as executive producers. (Deadline.com)


UNTITLED VALI CHANDRASEKARAN PROJECT (FOX, New!) - Vali Chandrasekaran ("30 Rock") has likewise set up at potential single-camera effort at FOX "set in the 1990s and centers on a young tax lawyer who quits his fast-paced job to follow a girl to a Columbia House-type company." The 20th Century Fox Television-based Chernin Entertainment is behind the half-hour with the company's Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope executive producing alongside Chandrasekaran. (Deadline.com)
