STARS OF USA NETWORK JOIN "CHARACTERS UNITE TO VOTE" EFFORT IN REMAINING CRITICAL WEEKS OF THE ELECTION SEASON

NEW YORK - October 22, 2012 - In the final, crucial weeks of the presidential election season, USA Network's award-winning Characters Unite public service campaign to promote diversity, respect and acceptance is launching a digital effort to encourage all Americans to make their voices heard by voting on November 6. The announcement was made by Toby Graff, USA's senior vice president, public affairs.

To promote the "Characters Unite To Vote" effort, the network created special digital posters featuring fan favorite characters, including WHITE COLLAR's Matt Bomer and Marsha Thomason, PSYCH's Dulé Hill, NECESSARY ROUGHNESS' Mehcad Brooks and Callie Thorne, BURN NOTICE's Bruce Campbell, ROYAL PAINS' Mark Feuerstein, COVERT AFFAIRS' Piper Perabo and SUITS' Gina Torres.

Starting today, each poster used in the initiative will include a black and white image of the series star with the quote "I'm a character. I vote to make my voice heard" and the tagline "Characters Unite to Vote." Fans will be directed to the Characters Unite Facebook page for more information and encouraged to use the Twitter hashtag #charactersunitetovote to share the posters and help get friends and family members out to vote on Election Day.
