"SIX LITTLE MCGHEES" PREMIERES SATURDAY, DECEMBER 15 ON OWN: OPRAH WINFREY NETWORK

New Docu-Series Follows the Busy, Love-Filled Lives of Parents Mia and Rozonno McGhee and their Sextuplet Toddlers

Mia & Rozonno McGhee with the McGhee sextuplets from "Six Little McGhees"

Los Angeles - The McGhee Sextuplets first captured the hearts of America after an online photo went viral and the entire family appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" in 2011. Now for the first time in a new television docu-series, "Six Little McGhees" follows the often chaotic, always love-filled lives of the unforgettable brood, as their parents struggle to balance the challenges of raising six toddlers with the demands of running their own business. "Six Little McGhees" debuts Saturday, December 15, at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network, immediately following the finale of "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's." After its premiere, the series will then air in its regular time slot, Saturdays at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.

In the premiere season of "Six Little McGhees," Mia and Rozonno (Ro) McGhee share the story of their unique family. Viewers learn how the high school sweethearts rose above humble roots to start their own business and after several unsuccessful attempts at starting a family, were blessed with a true miracle - Columbus, Ohio's first sextuplets, born on June 9, 2010.

Throughout the series cameras capture the tender moments, the chaos, the good times and the tantrums as ahandful of volunteers join Mia and Ro, including Ro's mother (also known as Miss Charmyne), to take care of the six growing toddlers, Josiah, Madison, Olivia, Issac, Rozonno Jr. and Elijah. From doctor visits to church services to thechildren's second birthday party, every step of the way the McGhees prove that "it takes a village" when it comes to their unique family and that love can overcome any obstacle. But the McGhee household is not always filled with bliss. Conflicts arise as Mia and Ro, who don't always see eye-to-eye, disagree on running their carpet cleaning business and must learn to take time for themselves to keep the spark in their marriage.

"Six Little McGhees" is executive produced by Philip Sternberg and Joe Sorge of Candor Entertainment, in conjunction with Discovery Fit & Health and OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. An encore airing of the first season of "Six Little McGhees" will run on Discovery Fit & Health in early 2013.
