"OPRAH'S NEXT CHAPTER" FEATURES EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEWS WITH BETTE MIDLER & VALERIE SIMPSON THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11 ON OWN

Los Angeles, CA - Oprah visits the larger than life Bette Midler about her epic career. Oprah also sits down with Valerie Simpson of the legendary, chart-topping duo Ashford & Simpson as she opens up about the loss of her husband of 37 years and writing partner, Nick Ashford. Both interviews will air on "Oprah's Next Chapter" this Sunday, November 11 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network.

Bette Midler discusses growing older in Hollywood, what's ahead in her next chapter, her latest movie, "Parental Guidance" and her co-star Billy Crystal; her biggest regrets, the secret to the success of her 27 year marriage and what she really thinks about "Wind Beneath My Wings," the song made famous by her 1988 movie "Beaches." She talks about watching the movie "Beaches" for the first time with her daughter, Sophie; and what song she says will never be allowed to play at her funeral. Bette also shares her passion for cleaning up the environment and creating a 100-person organization with the mission of planting one million trees in New York.

Oprah also sits down with Valerie Simpson, who co-wrote hits like "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," "I'm Every Woman" and "Ain't Nothing Like the Real Thing, to discuss life after Nick Ashford's death and their legacy. In their first television interview, Nick and Valerie's daughters sit down with Oprah to discuss their legendary father.

Tune in Sunday, November 11, at 9/8c.
