COUNT DOWN TO 2013 WITH "NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE!" MONDAY, DECEMBER 31, ON FOX

Lifehouse, Phillip Phillips and Carmen Electra to Perform

Plus LIVE Coverage of the World-Famous Ball Drop from New York City's Times Square

FOX celebrates the new year with a star-studded night of entertainment on NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE!, airing Monday, Dec. 31 (11:00 PM-12:30 AM ET live; CT/MT/PT tape-delayed). Broadcast from Las Vegas' Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE! will feature performances from rock group Lifehouse, AMERICAN IDOL Season 11 winner Phillip Phillips and entertainer Carmen Electra. FOX cameras also will capture the world-famous New Year's Eve Ball as it makes its descent into New York's Times Square. Host and additional performers to be announced.

Lifehouse, comprised of singer Jason Wade, drummer Rick Woolstenhulme, Jr., bassist Bryce Soderberg and guitarist Ben Carey, has charted 15 consecutive singles, making it one of the most successful bands of the 21st century. The No. 1 alternative hit, "Hanging By A Moment," became Top 40's most played song of 2001, and the 2005 hit, "You and Me," set a record by spending more than 60 weeks on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. 2007's "Who We Are" included the hits "First Time," "Whatever It Takes" and "Broken," which, combined, sold more than three million digital downloads. Lifehouse's new single "Between The Raindrops," featuring Natasha Bedingfield, is featured on the band's sixth studio album "Almería," which will be released on Geffen Records on Dec. 11.

Last month, Phillip Phillips' debut album, "The World From The Side Of The Moon" (19 Entertainment/Interscope Records), debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. His hit single, "Home," has enjoyed sales of more than 2.5 million, making it the most successful coronation song of any AMERICAN IDOL winner. "Home" was also used as the soundtrack for the 2012 U.S. Olympics Women's Gymnastics team. More recently, it has become the unofficial song for Hurricane Sandy relief.

Carmen Electra recently released her latest single, "I Like it Loud," featuring Bill Hame. Perhaps best known for her role on "Baywatch," Electra has since made the move to the big screen with starring roles in numerous films, including "Scary Movie," "Dirty Love," "Cheaper by the Dozen 2" and "Meet the Spartans." A familiar face on the Vegas strip, Electra appeared live on stage in 2009 as a featured guest star in MGM Grand's former burlesque show, "MGM Grand's Crazy Horse Paris."

NEW YEAR'S EVE LIVE! is executive-produced by Bob Bain, produced by Paul Flattery and directed by Michael Dempsey.
