TV ONE EARNS FIVE NAACP IMAGE AWARD NOMINATIONS
Dec. 11, 2012, Silver Spring, MD -TV One, the eight year old entertainment network for African American adults, has earned five NAACP Image Award nominations across multiple categories. The nominations were announced today during a live press conference from the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills, CA.
The TV One nominees include:
· Unsung (Outstanding News/ Information Series or Special)
· Washington Watch with Roland Martin (Outstanding News/ Information Series or Special)
· Save My Son (Outstanding News/ Information Series or Special)
· Tatyana Ali, Love That Girl (Best Actress in a Comedy Series)
· Verses and Flow (Outstanding Variety Series or Special)
The 44th NAACP IMAGE AWARDS celebrates the accomplishments of people of color in the fields of television, music, literature and film. The awards also honor individuals or groups who promote social justice through creative endeavors during the television event airing live Friday, February 1 on NBC.
