A New ACM Entertainment Special Will Tape at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Monday, April 8, To Air At A Later Date On CBS

Country music superstars Blake Shelton and Luke Bryan will co-host Country Music's Party of the Year(R), the 48TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS, honoring country music's best and introducing the industry's hottest emerging talent. The special, produced by dick clark productions, will be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 7 (8:00-11:00 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. This will mark reigning ACM Male Vocalist of the Year Shelton's third consecutive turn hosting a live televised event.

Brad Paisley will host the 3RD ANNUAL ACM FAN JAM taking place at The Orleans Arena, Sunday, April 7. Throughout the three-hour Awards telecast from the MGM Grand, there will be live ACM Fan Jam performances via remote by Paisley and other top-tier music acts.

As they have done for the past four years, the Academy and dick clark productions will once again tape an all-star concert television special Monday, April 8 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, featuring today's top country acts and more. Talent announcements are forthcoming. The special will air at a later date on CBS and ticket proceeds will benefit ACM Lifting Lives.

The 48TH ANNUAL ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS is dedicated to honoring and showcasing the biggest names and emerging talent in the country music industry. The show is produced for television by dick clark productions. Orly Adelson, R.A. Clark and Allen Shapiro are executive producers. Barry Adelman is producer and Bob Bardo is the executive in charge of production. Bob Romeo is executive producer for the Academy of Country Music.
