MATT DAMON HIJACKS "JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE" AND BRINGS THE SHOW TO PRIMETIME, TUESDAY, JANUARY 29 AT 10:00 PM ET/PT ON ABC

Last night Jimmy Kimmel's arch nemesis, Oscar winner Matt Damon, exacted his revenge following a decade of torture by hijacking Kimmel's late-night show and renaming it "Jimmy Kimmel Sucks." Damon showed Kimmel how it's done by packing his one-evening-only late-night turn with comedy and a cavalcade of A-list stars. On the heels of the ratings success of the episode, it will have a special primetime encore, TUESDAY, JANUARY 29 at 10:00 p.m., ET. (Rebroadcast. OAD: 1/24/13)

Note: This program replaces "Body of Proof: Mind Games."

Damon replaced Kimmel's longtime sidekick, Guillermo, with legendary actor Andy Garcia, his best childhood friend and bandleader, Cleto, with multi-Grammy winner Sheryl Crow, and packed his couch with such Hollywood notables as Nicole Kidman, Gary Oldman, Amy Adams, Reese Witherspoon and Demi Moore, plus special guest appearances by comedians Robin Williams and Sarah Silverman. Even Ben Affleck stopped by to participate in the big night, though his allegiance was torn between childhood friend Damon and former paramour Kimmel.

Featuring Matt Damon's takeover of Kimmel's late-night show on Thursday (1/24/13), ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" ranked as the No. 1 program in late-night in both Households (2.92 rating) and Adults 18-49 (1.23 rating) in Nielsen's 56 Metered Markets. Thursday's telecast marked "JKL's" best yet since moving to 11:35 p.m. in HH, and its 2nd-strongest in young adults. In the key Adult 18-49 demo, "JKL" beat NBC's "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" by 62% and CBS' "The Late Show with David Letterman" by 120%. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "JKL" ranked No. 1 in 9 of the Top 10 U.S. markets in Adults 18-49, including New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.

"JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE" (weeknights, 11:35 p.m., ET)

Jimmy Kimmel serves as host and executive producer of Emmy Award-nominated "Jimmy Kimmel Live," the ABC Television Network's late-night talk show. Now in its tenth season, "JKL" is packed with hilarious comedy bits and features a diverse lineup of guests including celebrities, athletes, musicians, comedians and humorous human interest subjects. Every night Kimmel delivers his up-to-the minute take on the latest news and pop culture topics from the day's events in his monologue, and has recently welcomed such notables as Johnny Depp, Meryl Streep, Tom Cruise, Robert Pattinson, Katy Perry, Will Farrell, Scarlett Johansson, Channing Tatum, Charlize Theron, John Krasinski, Jennifer Garner, Jessica Biel, Justin Bieber, Jessica Simpson, Kate Beckinsale, Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill, Andy Samberg, Michelle Williams, Zac Efron, Charlie Sheen, Chris Pine, Jeremy Renner, Jada Pinkett Smith, Josh Brolin, Russell Brand, Woody Harrelson and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

"Jimmy Kimmel Live," broadcasts from Disney's El Capitan Theater, located on Hollywood Boulevard in the heart of L.A.'s star-studded Walk of Fame. Kimmel showcases this illustrious location's unique character throughout his show by regularly interacting with the local "Super Heroes" parading along the boulevard and challenging passersby to participate in various comedy bits. He has also created many one-of-a-kind concert experiences, closing down Hollywood streets around his studio to hold musical block party events with artists such as Coldplay, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z and Depeche Mode, as well as special outdoor and lobby performances by Adele, Linkin Park, Justin Timberlake, Drake, Tony Bennett, Pitbull, Britney Spears, Lady Antebellum, Usher, Lenny Kravitz, Brad Paisley, Lil Wayne, Phoenix, 50 Cent, No Doubt and Dave Matthews Band.

Jimmy Kimmel and Jill Leiderman serve as executive producers. Jason Schrift, Douglas DeLuca and Erin Irwin serve as co-executive producers. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" is shot live in front of a studio audience and produced by Jackhole Industries in association with ABC Studios.
