Network Marks 200th Episode Of Popular True Crime Series "Snapped"

NEW YORK - February 20, 2013 - Oxygen Media expands its true crime original programming with the new series "Snapped: Killer Couples," featuring couples whose passion drives them to commit terrible criminal acts. Through recreations and gripping firsthand accounts, each episode takes a deep dive into the stories behind the couples' romance, how their relationship evolved once love turned into manipulation and what ultimately drove them to commit the crime.

From teenage lovers who embark on a multi-state crime spree to lesbian lovers who go to dangerous lengths to eliminate one of their husbands, viewers will see an array of relationships gone awry. In addition, the network will mark the 200th episode of Oxygen's ultimate guilty pleasure, "Snapped," which profiles the fascinating cases of women accused of murder. Now in its 10th season, the series attracts millions of fans including a diverse group of celebrities from Anderson Cooper to Kelly Ripa. Both series are part of Oxygen's true crime Sunday night lineup with the 200th episode of "Snapped" set to premiere on Sunday, March 10 at 9PM ET/PT, followed by the series premiere of "Snapped: Killer Couples" at 10PM ET/PT. Airs Sunday, March 10 at 9pm ET/PT

The story of Minnesota-native Jennifer Nibbe is profiled in the 200th episode of "Snapped." Nibbe, a young wife and mother, claims an intruder killed her husband. However, her story comes into question once investigators discover the couple's secret lives behind closed doors.

Airs Sunday, March 10 at 10pm ET/PT

The premiere episode features housewife turned adult film star Amanda Logue and her boyfriend, fellow actor Jason Andrews. Proving that the drama continues after the cameras stop rolling, the couple throws a surprise sex party for a friend. Unfortunately for the friend, the night leads to his gruesome murder.
