TOON IN TO ABC FAMILY'S WEEKEND OF DISNEY ANIMATED MOVIES AIRING SATURDAY, MARCH 30 AND SUNDAY, MARCH 31
Burbank, CA (March 4, 2013) - It's a draw on which movie will be your favorite, as ABC Family presents a full weekend of classic Disney animated films on Saturday, March 30 and Sunday, March 31.
Kicking the weekend off is the beloved 1951 feature, "Alice in Wonderland" (5:30PM-7:05PM ET/PT; encore Sunday 3:30PM-5:05PM ET/PT), following the adventures of young Alice as she finds herself in the strange, scary, whimsical world of Wonderland. Next up, a princess disguises herself as a soldier so she can fight to keep her people safe in "Mulan" (7:05PM - 9PM ET/PT; encore Sunday 5:05PM - 7PM ET/PT). And finally, after being tricked by his scheming uncle into thinking he caused his father's death, a guilt ridden lion cub flees into exile and abandons his identity as the future King, in "The Lion King" (9PM - 11PM ET/PT; encore Sunday 7PM - 9PM ET/PT).
Sunday also features the timeless "Beauty and the Beast" (9PM - 11PM ET/PT), the tale of a young woman who trades herself to a reclusive, wealthy beast in exchange for her imprisoned father's freedom. While learning to live with the monster, she soon discovers there is a misunderstood man inside.
