E! SPECIAL REVEALS THE REAL KRISTIN CAVALLARI BEHIND THE HYPE AND CONTROVERSY ON SUNDAY, MARCH 10th AT 10:00PM ET/PT

From Her 'Mean Girl' Status on "The Hills" and "Laguna Beach" And The Rumors That Swirled Around Her To Her Current Family Life and Current Career Path, Cavallari Tells All to E!'s Giuliana Rancic in Completely Candid Interview

Los Angeles, March 6, 2013 -- As portrayed on two popular reality series, Kristin Cavallari became known to viewers for the "Mean Girl" image that was blasted out over the airwaves. That was then. These days, Kristin Cavallari has settled into suburban life with her new baby and fiancé, NFL quarterback Jay Cutler. In this E! Entertainment Special, the once-controversial reality star opens up to Giuliana Rancic about her colorful past, her surprising reaction to motherhood, her two engagements to Cutler and what really happened once the cameras stopped rolling on "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills." Cavallari talks candidly for the very first time about many of the rumors that have plagued her since she was discovered at the age of 16. And in an unexpected turn, the beautiful Cavallari also takes E! on an exclusive tour of the brand new Chicago home that she shares with Jay and baby Camden. Plus she showcases her current career path as a successful fashion designer. See all this, and more, when the E! Entertainment special "Kristin Cavallari" premieres Sunday, March 10 at 10:00pm ET/PT, only on E!

"I was 16 when they ("Laguna Beach" producers) first came. We were babies and we didn't know what we were signing up for. They literally came in and just manipulated situations," she reveals.

There has been a lot of negative press heaped upon the star of MTV's top rated reality shows "Laguna Beach" and "The Hills." She was called out for her hard partying, starting fights with other cast members, and her possessiveness. She was publicly accused of doing drugs, an accusation she firmly denies as pure fabrication. According to the press, she was dating half of Hollywood, too -- Nick Lachey, Brody Jenner, Chris Evans, Jason Statham and Nick Zano, to name a few. But was she really? In this brand new special, Kristin spills her secrets about who she really dated and gives viewers the scoop on who was a boyfriend and who was a boy toy. She talks about her decision to embrace the villainess persona as an acting assignment and play it to the hilt, and where that decision ultimately led her.

"I had two lives," she says. "I had the public Kristin and then I had the real me." In the special, Kristin reveals that bribes were offered to entice other girls on the show to make false accusations about her while the cameras were rolling. "I felt so used and I realized at that moment that I didn't matter. None of us mattered. It was all about ratings."

Now Kristin lives an entirely different life, having fully embraced her new role as a suburban mom. As she and Giuliana discuss the new mom's first meeting with fiancé Cutler, viewers will learn how Giuliana actually played matchmaker for the now-happy couple. Kristin talks openly about the breakup that ended their first engagement, what brought them back together again, and their upcoming wedding. Plus, an exclusive tour of the house and a visit to baby Camden's nursery make for the most revealing look ever at one of TV's most talked-about reality stars.

Be sure to tune in Sunday, March 10 at 10:00pm ET/PT for the premiere of the E! Entertainment Special "Kristin Cavallari," only on E!
