DAVID ANDERS JOINS EXPANDING CAST OF USA NETWORK'S "NECESSARY ROUGHNESS"

Announcement Follows On the Heels of Recently Cast Recurring Guest Star John Stamos

David Anders ("Once Upon a Time," "Vampire Diaries," "24," "Heroes," "Alias") has been cast as a recurring guest star in season three of USA's critically acclaimed drama series NECESSARY ROUGHNESS. This follows on the heels of a string of recent casting announcements from the network, including Emmy(R) nominated actor and producer John Stamos to recur on NECESSARY ROUGHNESS, award-winning actor Hill Harper as a series regular on COVERT AFFAIRS and Jack Coleman and Stephen Martines to recur on BURN NOTICE.

NECESSARY ROUGHNESS stars Golden Globe(R)-nominated Callie Thorne, Mehcad Brooks Scott Cohen and Marc Blucas. Produced by Sony Pictures Television, the series is shot in Atlanta and will film 10 episodes for season three. Anders will play Troy Cutler, second-in-command to Connor (Stamos) at V3, the world's premiere sports and talent agency. Having sacrificed his personal life for his career, Troy gets satisfaction getting his hands a little dirty for the company - something that doesn't sit well with Dr. Dani (Thorne).

NECESSARY ROUGHNESS is created and executive produced by Liz Kruger & Craig Shapiro ("Miami Medical," "The Challenge"). Kevin Dowling ("Go On") also serves as executive producer. Inspired by a true story, NECESSARY ROUGHNESS is a Sony Pictures Television and Universal Cable Productions co-production.
