THE MOST UNIQUE AND ORIGINAL LIFESTYLE PROGRAM ON CABLE, "HOME & FAMILY", EARNS AN EARLY SECOND SEASON RENEWAL FROM HALLMARK CHANNEL

Hosted By Emmy(R) Award Nominee Mark Steines and TV Personality and Culinary Phenom Cristina Ferrare

Hallmark Channel announced today a second season renewal for "Home & Family", the most unique, original and useful lifestyle program on cable television.

Hosted by Emmy(R) Award nominee, Mark Steines, and TV personality and culinary phenom, Cristina Ferrare, "Home & Family" emanates from a 2,400 square foot working home on the backlot of Universal Studios California. From the home, Steines, Ferrare, and their expert guests present the best in cooking, crafting, decorating, health, financial advice, pet care, lawn and garden tips, with musical and other live performances from some of Hollywood's biggest stars. Originally billed as the ultimate "how to" show, Home & Family is a two-hour show airing weekdays, intended to help viewers live their best lives.

"'Home & Family' is one of the most unique and informative lifestyle programs on TV today. It has increasingly become a daily part of our viewers' lives, while offering tremendous value to our advertising and distribution partners," said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming. "We are incredibly proud of 'Home & Family', which is a cornerstone of our daytime lifestyle block and an important part of our programming strategy. We felt the series performance to date, as well as its future prospects for success, earned an early second season renewal."

In fourth quarter 2012, "Home & Family" reached a total of 9.6 million viewers, 8.4 million households, and 2.8 million women aged 25-54. In the 10 a.m. time slot, "Home & Family" showed a quarter-to-quarter increase of 6% among the core demographic of women 25-54 compared to the third quarter 2012 time period average when it launched. In addition, "Home & Family" lowered the time period's median age by 2 years since third quarter 2012, and lowered the median age by 4 years since "Martha Stewart" aired in the time period in fourth quarter 2011.

Woody Fraser is creator, Marty Tenney is co-executive producer, Stacy Patterson and Ryan Berlin are senior producers, and Bob Levy is director of "Home & Family".
