Baseball Hall of Famer Barry Larkin Re-Signs with ESPN
The 1995 National League MVP will appear on "Baseball Tonight" throughout the season, including regular appearances on the "ESPN Sunday Night Baseball" pre-game edition of the show.

Baseball Hall of Famer Barry Larkin Re-signs with ESPN

Baseball Hall of Famer Barry Larkin has reached a multiyear extension with ESPN, where he will serve as a Baseball Tonight analyst. The 1995 National League MVP will appear on Baseball Tonight throughout the season, including regular appearances on the ESPN Sunday Night Baseball pre-game edition of the show - Sundays at 7 p.m. ET.

"Baseball Tonight provides me with the opportunity to teach fans and viewers about the game that I love," said Larkin. "I'm excited to continue my television career at ESPN and be part of a dedicated team of professionals who love the game of baseball."

Larkin joined ESPN in 2011 and has contributed to Baseball Tonight as a studio analyst and to ESPN's coverage of MLB Spring Training and the College World Series as a game analyst.

"Having a Hall of Famer like Barry Larkin on your roster helps fulfill our goal to serve fans with experience, insight and expert analysis on a daily basis," said Mike McQuade, ESPN vice president, production. "Larkin's one of our core Baseball Tonight analysts and he contributes to what is the deepest roster of MLB commentators anywhere."

Larkin was a 12-time MLB All-Star and helped lead the Cincinnati Reds to the 1990 World Series championship. He was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2012.
