KIDS AND CELEBRITIES COUNT DOWN THE TOP 10 ANNOYING THINGS SIBLINGS DO IN NICK NEWS WITH LINDA ELLERBEE "IF ONLY I WERE AN ONLY CHILD," AIRING MONDAY, MAY 13, AT 8PM (ET/PT) ON NICKELODEON

Special Features Natalie Coughlin, Nolan Gould, Tony Hawk, Toby Keith, Mario Lopez, Seth Meyers, Donny and Marie Osmond, Romeo, and "Cake Boss" Buddy Valastro

NEW YORK, May 6, 2013 -- Brothers and sisters can be your best friends, but they can also drive you nuts. Kids across America rank the top ten ways siblings get under your skin in the half-hour Nick News with Linda Ellerbee special, "If Only I Were an Only Child," premiering Monday, May 13, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. Some of the frustrating things discussed include not sharing, copying, picking, tattling, and embarrassing them in front of friends.

"I fell asleep on the couch," says 12-year-old Nikki from Lynwood, Calif. "And (my sister) got all her makeup and painted me."

"At school, every time he sees me....he's always got to run beside me and go, Brother! Brother! Brother!'" says 14-year-old Austin from Lexington, S.C.

The special also features celebrities discussing sibling rivalries.

"My brother went and took this IQ test and he scored 149," says child actor Nolan Gould of Modern Family. "Then a couple days later, I went and took the IQ test and I scored 150. And so, my brother, not to be outdone...he went and took the IQ test again, and he got 151."

"I've taken a bite of every sandwich my brother's ever made," says Seth Meyers of Saturday Night Live. "We call it the sandwich tax."

"Sure, siblings can be annoying," Ellerbee says. "But (as an only child), I envy you. You had and have each other. Even at those times when all you want to do is wring each other's neck."

Nick News, produced by Lucky Duck Productions, is now in its 22nd year and is the longest-running kids' news show in television history. It has built its reputation on the respectful and direct way it speaks to kids about the important issues of the day. (1998). In addition, in 1995, the entire series won the Emmy. In 2009, Nick News was honored with the Edward R. Murrow Award for best Network News Documentary for Coming Home: When Parents Return from War - the first-ever kids' television program to receive this prestigious award. Nick News has also received three Peabody Awards, including a personal award given to Ellerbee for explaining the impeachment of President Clinton to kids, as well as a Columbia duPont Award and more than a dozen Parents' Choice Awards.
