WILLIAM BALDWIN JOINS BBC AMERICA'S "COPPER"

New York City native plays Tammany Hall political fixer

Lindy Booth also joins previously announced guest stars Eamonn Walker, Lee Tergesen, Andrew Howard and Alfre Woodard

Nothing is ever as it seems in Five Points...BBC AMERICA and Cineflix Studios promise no shortage of twists and turns for season two of COPPER, announcing today that famed New Yorker, William "Billy" Baldwin (Gossip Girl, Hawaii Five-O) will guest star in the last two episodes of the upcoming season as William "Wild Bill" Eustace - a charming Tammany Hall power broker. Also joining Baldwin at the end of the season is Lindy Booth (Kick-Ass 2, Fairly Legal) as Teresa Trembley - protected witness of a high-profile murder in Five Points. COPPER, BBC AMERICA's highest-rated original drama set in 1860s New York City, returns Sunday, June 23, 10:00pm ET/PT.

William "Wild Bill" Eustace (Baldwin) is a tough and charming Tammany Hall fixer with a genius for political machination. The scion of a successful river barge owning family, Eustace left home as a teenager to work on whaling ships. Upon his return, he bought a number of saloons in the City and parlayed his connections into real political power. Comfortable navigating the complicated streets of New York, Eustace is a rising star in the City's power structure and the man sent in to make problems go away.

Teresa Trembley (Booth) is a naive country girl who moved to New York City in search of opportunity. After becoming involved with a powerful married Alderman, she is ensnared in a web of deception and murder.

COPPER is created by three-time Emmy(R) Award-winner Tom Fontana and Academy Award-nominee Will Rokos and executive produced by Academy Award-winner Barry Levinson, Fontana, Rokos, Cineflix Studios President, Christina Wayne and Thomas Kelly (Blue Bloods).

Previously announced cast and season two guest stars include: Donal Logue, multiple award winner, Alfre Woodard (Twelve Years a Slave, Steel Magnolias) as Hattie Lemaster, a former slave who has recently arrived to the Five Points to start anew with her daughter, Sara Freeman, Eamonn Walker (Chicago Fire, OZ) as legendary abolitionist leader, Frederick Douglass; Lee Tergesen (Army Wives, OZ) as Philomen Keating, a wickedly intelligent criminal mastermind whose tendency for dramatic flair is offset by a penchant for brutality; and Andrew Howard (Hatfields and McCoys, Burn Notice) as James O'Rourke, the physically intimidating yet shrewdly observant manager of a budding criminal organization.

Returning cast includes Tom Weston-Jones (World Without End, MI-5), Kyle Schmid (Arrow, Being Human), Anastasia Griffith (Once Upon a Time, Damages) Franka Potente (American Horror Story, The Bourne Supremacy), Ato Essandoh (Django Unchained, Elementary), Kevin Ryan (Tripping Tommy, RAW), Dylan Taylor (Covert Affairs, Charlie Bartlett), Kiara Glasco (Haven, I'll Follow You Down) and Tessa Thompson (For Colored Girls, Heroes).

COPPER is a Cineflix (Copper 2) Inc. production in association with BBC AMERICA and Shaw Media. Executive producers for Cineflix include: Cineflix Studio President, Christina Wayne, Sherri Rufh, Sam Berliner, and Katherine Buck. Larysa Kondracki is Co-Executive Producer/Director. COPPER is filming in Toronto, Ontario through July 2013.
