HGTV RETURNS TO 2013 CMA MUSIC FESTIVAL WITH STAR-STUDDED INTERACTIVE FAN VENUE "THE LODGE"

Florida Georgia Line, Goo Goo Dolls and Lisa Marie Presley to Make Appearances at The Lodge

NEW YORK [For Immediate Release - May 29, 2013] Amid the excitement of thousands of fans and hundreds of artists at the 2013 CMA Music Festival, HGTV once again joins the ultimate country music fan experience by opening the doors to its star-studded venue The Lodge when the festival kicks off on Thursday, June 7. During the four-day event, The Lodge offers festival-goers a unique concert venue that features live musical performances by popular country music stars, autograph signings, a mobile device recharging station and a $10,000 cash giveaway.

Beginning at 10 a.m. CT on Thursday, June 6, The Lodge jump-starts the action with a lineup of appearances by Big Machine Label Group artists, including Justin Moore, Brantley Gilbert, Florida Georgia Line and Thomas Rhett. From June 7-9, HGTV hosts performances by Kip Moore, Brett Eldredge, Lauren Alaina, David Nail, Phil Vassar, Casey James, Jerrod Niemann, Chris Stapleton, Tate Stevens, Joe Nichols, Kristen Kelly and Goo Goo Dolls. Little Big Town and Lisa Marie Presley also will be on hand for autograph signings. To gain admission to The Lodge, fans must RSVP in advance and obtain a wristband via each artists' Facebook, Twitter or website. In addition, fans can get more information by visiting HGTVLodge.eventbrite.com.

"Last year, more than 15,000 fans interacted with our space and enjoyed The Lodge experience," said Denise Conroy, senior vice president, marketing and creative, HGTV and DIY Network. "The overwhelmingly positive response to our presence made it an easy decision to return to the festival. Once again, fans can enjoy a stellar line-up of amazing country music stars amid a 'home' experience. The CMA Music Festival offers a unique and tangible way for HGTV to connect and engage with a new audience."

The 2,400-square-foot Lodge, built by DC Builders, also offers visitors a chance to recharge their electronic devices at the Brother vs. Brother Lounge, named for the new HGTV home renovation competition series that premieres on Sunday, July 21, at 10 p.m. ET/PT and stars the popular Property Brothers, Jonathan Scott and Drew Scott. In addition, visitors can enter for the chance to win $10,000 cash in the HGTV #LOVEHOME sweepstakes. No purchase necessary and open to legal U.S. residents of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, 18 or older. Sweeps ends 5 p.m. CT on June 9, 2013. Void where prohibited.

HGTV knows that festival goers are as passionate about country music as the network's audience is about their homes. To encourage fans to share their love of music and home, fans can upload photos of their experience at The Lodge on Twitter and Instagram at #lovehome and #lovemusic. The #lovehome hashtag is a part of HGTV's 2013 brand campaign, which asks viewers to share what they "love" about home by tagging photos with #hgtv and #lovehome. To date, HGTV has garnered more than 135,000 submissions on Instagram and Twitter.
