By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

BAD ADVICE FROM MY BROTHER (Comedy Central; W: Jordan Pope Roush; D: Chris Koch) - Miles Fisher, Mike Castle and Reggie Watts have all been cast in the comedy pilot, about "two brothers - Jason (Fisher), the older, not necessarily wiser brother who has spent most of his post-college life chasing women and the almighty dollar on Wall Street, and Ben (Castle), his younger brother who wants to follow in his footsteps - and their neighbor Reggie (Watts)." The project is based on Roush's blog of the same name with showrunner Brad Copeland, director Chris Koch and Underground Films' Trevor Engelson also serving as executive producers and Tony Hernandez as a co-executive producer. (Deadline.com)

BOSCH (Amazon, New!) - The digital distributor is moving forward with its first drama pilot, based on Michael Connelly's novels about Harry Bosch, a veteran police homicide detective with the Los Angeles Police Department. Eric Overmeyer ("Treme") penned the hour alongside Connelly with Fabrik Entertainment's Henrik Bastin and Mikkel Bondesen also among the executive producers. The most recent Bosch novel, "The Black Box," was released last fall. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Lifetime and Jennifer Love Hewitt's discussions on how to deal with the actress' real-life pregnancy creatively and logistically are reportedly holding up a third season order for "The Client List" (Deadline.com); Channing Tatum and Reid Carolin's Warner Bros. Television-based Iron Horse Entertainment is developing "Nicky," a multi-camera comedy starring and co-written by Nick Zano (Deadline.com); Annet Mahendru and Mike Dopud will guest on "White Collar" as a talented Russian figure skater and a Russian gangster, respectively (TVLine.com); and Erin Cummings will swing by "Unforgettable" as "elite thief-for-hire that happens to bear a resemblance" to Poppy Montgomery's Carrie Wells (TVLine.com).
