Final Weekly Installment of Totally Biased Series returns in September on FXX as a Daily Late Night Strip

New York, NY - June 17, 2013 - W. Kamau Bell welcomes Billy Porter, the Tony Award-winning star of Kinky Boots on Thursday, June 20 @ 11:00pm ET/PT for the final weekly episode of Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell.

Also appearing on the June 20 show will be comedian/rapper Zach "MC Mr. Napkins" Sherwin, who will be performing an original rap number. Totally Biased will return in September on FXX as a daily late night strip.

Billy Porter recently won the Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role, for his portrayal of "Lola" in the Tony Award-winning musical Kinky Boots. His other Broadway credits include Miss Saigon, Five Guys Named Moe, Grease, Smokey Joe's Cafe and Dreamgirls. Off-Broadway, he has appeared in Angels in America, Merchant of Venice and King Lear, among others. He has also appeared in the films The Broken Hearts Club and Noel, and on television in The Big C, Law & Order and Shake Rattle & Roll: An American Love Story.

Previous guests on Totally Biased include Aisha Tyler, Don Cheadle, David Alan Grier, George Takei, Wanda Sykes, John Oliver, Tom Morello, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and journalists Rachel Maddow, Matt Taibbi, Dave Zirin, heavy metal band Unlocking The Truth, Jim Norton and Lindy West.

Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell, from Bell and Executive Producers Chris Rock, Chuck Sklar and Keri Smith Esguia, stars standup comedian W. Kamau Bell as he hilariously dissects politics, pop culture, race, religion, sex and the media from his own unique point of view. The show is a mix of Bell's commentary, live guests, sketch comedy and taped segments. A half-hour series, Totally Biased is produced by FX Productions and is shot in New York City before a live studio audience.

This July, W. Kamau Bell and writers from Totally Biased will unleash the 10-city Totally Biased Stand Up Tour with W. Kamau Bell. The tour is a prelude to the September unveiling of Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell as a nightly strip on the new channel, FXX. W. Kamau Bell, recently declared by The New York Times to be "the most promising talent in political comedy in many years," is one of the fastest rising socio-political comics in the United States. A founding member of the stand-up comedy collective "Laughter Against the Machine," Bell is also co-host of The Field Negro Guide to Arts & Culture podcast with Living Colour guitarist Vernon Reid. His recent stand up album, Face Full of Flour, was named one of the Top 10 Best Comedy Albums of 2010 by iTunes and Punchline Magazine. Bell is best known for his critically acclaimed solo show "The W. Kamau Bell Curve: Ending Racism in About an Hour," which was a Time Out New York Critic's Pick in the 2010 NY Comedy Festival, and a comedy pick in The Guardian during its 2011 run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
