SHE PICKS THE GOWN, THEY WIN THE CROWN!

OBSESSED WITH THE DRESS PROVES THAT SMALL TOWNS REAP BIG REWARDS WHEN MICHELE STROM BLOWS THROUGH THE PAGEANT SCENE

PREMIERES SATURDAY, JULY 27, at 9PM ET/PT on WE tv

New York, NY - June 20, 2013 - This summer, former beauty queen Michele Strom is taking the glamorous world of pageantry by storm with WE tv's all-new six episode series, OBSESSED WITH THE DRESS, premiering Saturday, July 27, at 9 PM ET/PT.

Shot in Omaha, Nebraska, OBSESSED WITH THE DRESS follows former Mrs. Nebraska titleholder, turned business owner, Michele Strom and her pageant-winning staff at The Winning Crown Boutique as they dress high-maintenance and high-strung pageant hopefuls. The competition may be stiff but Strom and her team will do whatever it takes to make sure their clients take home the crown!

"I don't do second place," warns Strom, whose competitive nature and thick skin earned her countless ribbons and a no-nonsense reputation for winning in the tough world of beauty.

At The Winning Crown Boutique, the staff's egos are bigger than the gowns. But, who better to sell pageant gowns than the queens that donned them? Meet Hannah, the outgoing, filterless redhead, who uses her smarts and charm to win over the clientele; Sarah, the self-proclaimed smart-aleck who can dress a girl up just as swiftly as she dresses her down; Gretchen, the opinionated beauty queen who bursts at the seams to say what she means; talented designer Tiffany, boutique manager, who sticks out from The Winning Crown crowd; and Beau, the new guy, who's clueless on the catwalk but can work a sales floor better than anyone else in the business.

Strom opened The Winning Crown Boutique in 2009 and it has since become one of the go-to spots for pageant related apparel. Strom has dressed dozens of pageant winners including Miss America 2011, proving she knows what reigns supreme for these beauty queens. Answers don't win; personalities do, and it's her job to make sure that the judges become as equally OBSESSED WITH THE DRESS as the divas wearing them.

OBSESSED WITH THE DRESS is produced for WE tv by Pie Town Productions and executive produced by Tara Sandler, Jennifer Davidson, Scott Templeton and Russell Heldt. Lauren P. Gellert and Kate Farrell serve as executive producers for WE tv.
