"Broadway on Live" Week Returns to "Live With Kelly and Michael," July 22-26

"BROADWAY ON LIVE" WEEK RETURNS TO "LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL," JULY 22-26

All Week Hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan Will Showcase Broadway's Hottest New Shows

New York, NY - July 15, 2013 - During the week of July 22-26, 2013, nationally-syndicated morning talk show "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" will give its nationwide TV audience a taste of the top new productions currently on the Great White Way with the return of "Broadway on LIVE" week.

Throughout the week, "LIVE" will showcase five hit musicals, with exclusive segments saluting the best that Broadway has to offer. Host Kelly Ripa will kick off the week on Monday, July 22, when she goes backstage at the Tony Award-winning musical "Pippin." On Tuesday, July 23, the cast of "Motown The Musical" will perform The Temptations' classic song "My Girl" for the "LIVE" audience.

"Broadway on LIVE" week continues on Wednesday, July 24, when Ripa meets the cast and crew of "Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella," and performs "Stepsister's Lament" with some of the cast members on the "LIVE" stage. Host Michael Strahan makes his return to Broadway in the Tony Award winner for Best Musical, "Kinky Boots," and will recap the experience on "LIVE" on Thursday, July 25. And on Friday, July 26, the curtain comes down on "Broadway on LIVE" week when the four young actresses who share the lead in "Matilda The Musical" perform together for the first time in the United States.
