TROPHY WIFE (ABC/ABC Studios; W: Emily Halpern & Sarah Haskins; D: Jason Moore) - Bailee Madison ("Once Upon a Time") has joined the cast of the upcoming comedy, about reformed party girl Kate (Malin Akerman) who gets an insta-family - complete with three stepchildren and two ex-wives - after she marries Pete (Bradley Whitford). She'll play Hillary, the teenage daughter from Pete's first marriage to Diane (Marcia Gay Harden). Gianna LePera played said role in the original pilot. No reason was given for the change. Albert Tsai, Michaela Watkins, Natalie Morales and Ryan Scott Lee also star. (Deadline.com)
AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Taryn Manning's Tiffany "Pennsatucky" Doggett has been upped to series regular for the second season of "Orange Is the New Black" (Deadline.com); New Regency Productions and 20th Century Fox Television have optioned Patrick Rothfuss's fantasy trilogy "The Kingkiller Chronicle" to develop into a drama series (Deadline.com); Adam Pally will recur on "The Mindy Project" as "a new doctor at the OB/GYN practice where Mindy Kaling's titular hot mess works" (TVLine.com); and Bobby Campo and Heather Hemmens have both landed arcs on the new season of "Grey's Anatomy" (THR.com).
