Each episode of DEADLY AFFAIRS features two stories interlaced with expert commentary from local authorities and true-crime experts, as well as first-person accounts from friends and families of the victims. The line-up of DEADLY AFFAIRS premieres in August is as follows:

A Fool's Bet Premieres Saturday, August 3 at 10 PM E/P

· Greed and the need for attention turn deadly as spouses gamble with the game of love. First, Virginia and Norman Larzelere appear to have it all: expensive taste, loving children, and a thriving bank account. But the passion quickly fizzles as the realities of married life settle in. While Norman works, Virginia begins to play, scouring the bars for her latest late-night fling.

· High school sweethearts Bill and Carolyn Exum put down roots in a picture perfect life outside of Portland, OR. Their dream marriage quickly turns into a bloody nightmare when Carolyn reconnects with a former classmate.

School of Deceit Premieres Saturday, August 10 at 10 PM E/P

· Living a picture perfect life just outside Lynchburg, Virginia, Wesley and Jocelyn Earnest seem to have it all. They have a nice home and build a palace on nearby Smith Mountain Lake. From the outside their future looks bright. Wesley is an assistant principal and Jocelyn works as a financial advisor. But when the cost of building the lake house begin to tear the couple apart, Wesley finds solace in the arms of another woman. Jocelyn discovers the affair too late and in the end, someone is going to get a lesson in murder.

· Later, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Eric and Erin Mclean have no problem taking a troubled student under their wing. That is, until Erin, the bad teacher takes a bite of the forbidden apple when she starts an affair with her delinquent pupil. This affair is about to end in detention, with the final punishment leaving someone six feet under.

Driven by Desire Premieres Saturday, August 17 at 10 PM E/P

· Racing enthusiasts Mark and Janet Howard are happily married in Cottage Grove, Oregon. They love the local dirt track racing, and build their lives around the fast paced sport. But after 20 years of marriage, a neglected Jan meets Derek Ofenham, a handsome hunk almost 30 years her junior. What starts as a fling turns into a fatal attraction.

· Later, Danielle and Bobby Regan have been married eight years when Highway Patrolman Bobby's numerous affairs come to light. He's hot and heavy with a notorious older woman. Soon, threats of divorce and betrayal lead this trio down the road to murder.

Generous Betrayal Premieres Saturday, August 24 at 10 PM E/P

· Living happily on the outskirts of Chicago, Rhoni Reuter has got it all. After several years with her Super Bowl winning beau, Shaun Gayle, she's finally getting a trophy of her own. The two are expecting a baby. Little does Rhoni know, her man has a few women on the sidelines and someone on this field is about to get sacked.

· Later, in the rolling hills of New Jersey's horse country, pizza slinging Rosario DiGirolamo has no qualms about keeping a little extra something on the side. That is, until his wife Maria and girlfriend Amy Giordano, announce they both have buns in the oven. No matter how you slice it, this love affair is about to leave somebody in pieces.
