Burbank, CA (July 23, 2013) - On Wednesday, July 24th, fans can participate in a live Twitter chat with host Alfonso Ribeiro during the East Coast broadcast of ABC Family's new original game show, "Spell-Mageddon." Ribeiro follows live chats with Taylor Spreitler ("Melissa & Joey") and Tahj Mowry ("Baby Daddy") as part of ABC Family's New Comedy Wednesdays.

Ribeiro will be chatting with fans via his handle @alfonso_ribeiro during the premiere episode airing Wednesday, July 24th, at 9:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. PT. To ask Alfonso a question, fans should include #SpellmageddonChat in their tweets.

Hosted by Ribeiro, "Spell-Mageddon" is a one hour game show that puts a fresh spin on the spelling bee, where contestants take on hilarious distractions while spelling increasingly challenging words. The show will join ABC Family's Wednesday night comedy lineup at 9pm ET/PT following "Melissa and Joey" and "Baby Daddy."

Spell-Mageddon" is created and executive produced by Adam Reed, Adam Freeman and Leslie Greif of Thinkfactory Media. Additional executive producers are Jeff Krask and Michael Canter.
