By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- The latest development news, culled from recent wire reports:

Looking to keep track of all the various projects in development? Click here to visit our signature "Devwatch" section. There visitors can view our listings by network, genre, studio and even development stage (ordered to pilot, cast-contingent, script, etc.). It's updated every day!

OPEN (HBO/Fox 21; W: Lauren Gussis & Ryan Murphy; D: TBA) - Anna Torv ("Fringe") and Jennifer Jason Leigh ("Revenge") have both joined the cast of the drama pilot, billed as "a modern, provocative exploration of human sexuality and relationships." The former will play Windsor, "a yoga instructor in a longterm relationship with Holly (Leigh), an actress intensely committed to her career, who, upon meeting Grace (yet to be cast), feels an instant connection." Scott Speedman and Wes Bentley also star in the project. (Deadline.com)

UNREAL (Lifetime, New!) - Marti Noxon and Sarah Gertrude Shapiro have snagged a pilot order from the network for a new drama based on the latter's independent short film Sequin Raze, which "goes behind-the-scenes of a hit competition dating show to follow the experiences of a young staffer whose sole job is to manipulate her relationships with (and among) the contestants to get the vital dramatic and outrageous footage the program's producers demand." Noxon, Sally DeSipio and Bill Davenport will executive produce for Wieden+Kennedy Entertainment with Shapiro serving as a producer. (Deadline.com)

AND IN OTHER NEWS... - Twentieth Television has cleared the off-network run of "Raising Hope" on local stations covering 55% of the country while CMT, WGN America and FXX have signed on for its cable run (Deadline.com); Jonathan Lisco has closed a two-year overall deal with AMC where he'll serve as showrunner of the network's new drama "Halt & Catch Fire" (Deadline.com); John Ratzenberger will guest on "Bones" in an episode set at a couples retreat (EW.com); Natalie Morales will guest on "Girls" as "a sweet twentysomething who surrounds herself with artists and has a desire to save the world" (TVLine.com); and Margo Harshman has been cast in the potentially recurring role of McGee's (Sean Murray) new girlfriend Delilah on "NCIS" (TVLine.com).
