CAST AND EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS OF "THE FOSTERS," INCLUDING EXECUTIVE PRODUCER JENNIFER LOPEZ, TO CHAT LIVE WITH FANS VIA TWITTER DURING THE SUMMER FINALE AIRING MONDAY, AUGUST 5, ON ABC FAMILY

Burbank, CA (August 2, 2013) - Fans of "The Fosters" will have the opportunity to chat live with cast and executive producers from the series during the East Coast and West Coast broadcasts of the series' Summer finale on Monday, August 5th, from 9:00 - 10:00 p.m. ET/PT. "The Fosters" executive producer Jennifer Lopez will be tweeting live with fans via her handle @JLo during the East Coast broadcast from 9:00 - 10:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. PT. To join the conversation, fans should include the hashtag #TheFostersChat in their tweets.

In the Summer finale episode of "The Fosters," entitled "I Do," Stef and Lena try to maintain calm when their parents descend on the Foster house for a very special celebration. Lena's dad, Stewart (played by Stephen Collins), has agreed to officiate the ceremony while her mother, Dana (Lorraine Toussaint), and Stef's colorful, talkative mom Sharon (Annie Potts) attempt to keep things civil when disagreeing on floral arrangements. Sharon tries to strong-arm Frank (Sam McMurray) into attending. Stef avoids telling Lena she plans to return to work as soon as she is cleared. Meanwhile, when Callie's case against Liam (Brandon Jones) boils down to her word against his, she must decide whether or not to lie in order to get some justice out of the situation. Callie and Jude get some news they've been hoping for, but Callie makes an emotional slip that could destroy any chance they finally have at happiness. Jim Hayman directed the episode written by series executive producers Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige.

To celebrate the nuptials on Monday's episode of "The Fosters," ABC Family has launched "The Fosters" Summer Finale Wedding Event Facebook App at TheFostersWedding.com/Redirect. On the App, fans can RSVP to the wedding and check out photos and a special sneak peek of the episode. During the episode broadcast, fans will be able to sign the digital guest book, toss a virtual bouquet and chat with other fans. After the episode airs on the West Coast, fans will also be able to see a deleted scene from the episode within the App.

From executive producer Jennifer Lopez ("American Idol," "What to Expect When You're Expecting," "The Back-Up Plan") and created by Bradley Bredeweg and Peter Paige ("Queer As Folk"), who also serve as writers and executive producers, "The Fosters" stars Teri Polo, Sherri Saum, Jake T. Austin, Hayden Byerly, David Lambert, Maia Mitchell, Danny Nucci and Cierra Ramirez. Joanna Johnson ("Make it or Break it"), Elaine Goldsmith Thomas, Benny Medina and Greg Gugliotta also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Nuyorican Productions, Inc., and Prodco, Inc.
