"LIVE WITH KELLY AND MICHAEL" ANNOUNCES THE MUSTACHE MOBILE FOOD TRUCK FROM ATLANTIC CITY, NJ AS THE WINNER OF "LIVE'S TRUCKIN' AMAZING COOK-OFF"

NEW YORK, NY - August 2, 2013 - This morning on "LIVE with Kelly and Michael," hosts Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan announced that the Mustache Mobile food truck from Atlantic City, NJ was chosen as the winner of "LIVE's" Truckin' Amazing Cook-Off" and took home the $20,000 grand prize.

In May, Ripa and Strahan announced "LIVE's Truckin' Amazing Cook-Off," the show's first-ever search for the nation's best food truck. "LIVE's" viewers nominated their favorite food-on-the-go, and the top ten chefs came to New York and were showcased on "LIVE." The viewers rated the recipes online after each appearance, and the four food trucks with the highest overall ratings were narrowed down to the top two after a nationwide online vote. They returned to New York for an in-studio final competition on today's show.

This morning, Atlantic City's own Mustache Mobile chef Mike Hauke and his recipe for Cheesesteak Ole went head-to-head with Scranton, PA chefs Mario Bevilacqua and Katie Graziosi's and their recipe for Pulled Pork Tacos from the What The FORK food truck. The three chefs served their specialties to a judging panel consisting of world-famous chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, chef and restaurateur Andrew Carmellini, executive chef Josh Capon, "LIVE" executive producer Michael Gelman, plus a selection of "LIVE" studio audience members. The dishes were rated in various categories, including taste, originality, presentation and personality.

After the votes were tallied, the Cheesesteak Ole from the Mustache Mobile reigned supreme, and chef Hauke was chosen as the $20,000 grand prize winner. But that's not all; the runner-up did not walk away empty-handed, and What The FORK's chefs, Bevilacqua and Graziosi, took home a $5,000 prize.

Emmy Award-winning talk show "LIVE with Kelly and Michael" is distributed in national syndication by Disney-ABC Domestic Television. Produced by WABC-TV in New York and executive produced by Michael Gelman, "LIVE" airs in more than 200 markets across the U.S. Visit "LIVE" on the web at LIVEKellyandMichael.com, on Facebook, or follow "LIVE" on Twitter, @KellyandMichael.
