CBS SPORTS ANNOUNCES BROADCAST PAIRINGS FOR 2013 NFL SEASON

Jim Nantz and Phil Simms Lead as No. 1 NFL ON CBS Announce Team In CBS Television Network's 54th Season Covering NFL

THE NFL TODAY Anchored by James Brown, Dan Marino, Bill Cowher, Boomer Esiason and Shannon Sharpe

The CBS Television Network begins its 54th year of broadcasting the NFL on Sunday, Sept. 8 (12:00 Noon-4:00 PM, ET) as Jim Nantz and Phil Simms lead THE NFL ON CBS into the Network's 2013 NFL season. CBS Sports' complete roster of announce teams for its 54th year of NFL coverage was announced today by Sean McManus, Chairman, CBS Sports, and Executive Producer, THE NFL ON CBS.

James Brown anchors the CBS Television Network's pre-game studio show, THE NFL TODAY, along with analysts Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason, Shannon Sharpe and Bill Cowher from the CBS Broadcast Center in New York City. Jason La Canfora begins his second year as the "NFL Insider," while Lesley Visser serves as a contributor for the show. This season marks the 46th year of THE NFL TODAY on the CBS Television Network.

THE NFL ON CBS announce team is solidified as the deepest in sports television as Greg Gumbel once again calls games alongside Dan Dierdorf; Ian Eagle teams with Dan Fouts; Marv Albert pairs with Rich Gannon to call games; Kevin Harlan once again teams with Solomon Wilcots; Bill Macatee with Steve Tasker; and Spero Dedes pairs with Steve Beuerlein.

THE NFL ON CBS Preseason Schedule Kicks Off with Green Bay Packers Hosting Seattle Seahawks Live in Prime Time on Friday, August 23

St. Louis Rams Take On Denver Broncos for THE NFL ON CBS's Second Preseason Game Following Night on August 24 on CBS Television Network

The CBS Television Network begins its 54th year broadcasting the NFL with two preseason games during the 2013 season.

The preseason schedule for THE NFL ON CBS begins on Friday, Aug. 23 (8:00 PM, ET) when the Green Bay Packers host the Seattle Seahawks live in prime time on the CBS Television Network. Ian Eagle and Phil Simms provide the call, along with Tracy Wolfson reporting, from Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisc. Ryan Galvin produces and Mike Arnold directs.

THE NFL ON CBS will conclude its two-game preseason schedule the following night as the St. Louis Rams take on the Denver Broncos live in prime time on Saturday, Aug. 24 (8:00 PM, ET). Greg Gumbel and Dan Dierdorf call the action, along with Allie LaForce reporting, from Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Colo. Mark Wolff produces and Bob Fishman directs.
