TAYLOR SPREITLER ("MELISSA & JOEY") AND MELISSA PETERMAN ("BABY DADDY") TO PARTICIPATE IN LIVE TWITTER CHATS FOR NEW COMEDY WEDNESDAYS AUGUST 21 ON ABC FAMILY

Twitter Chats to Take Place Live During the East Coast Feed of New Comedy Wednesdays Airing 8:00 - 9:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. PT

Burbank, CA (August 21, 2013) - On Wednesday, August 21st, fans can participate in live Twitter chats with actors during the East Coast broadcast of all new episodes of "Melissa & Joey" and "Baby Daddy" as part of ABC Family's New Comedy Wednesdays.

Taylor Spreitler, who plays Lennox Scanlon on "Melissa & Joey," will be chatting with fans via her handle @TaylorSpreitler during a new episode airing Wednesday, August 21st, at 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT. To ask Taylor a question, fans should include #MelissaandJoeyChat in their tweets. In the episode "Teach Your Children," Joe works out an alternative payment plan when he begins dating the mom (Krista Allen) of one of his students, which unintentionally earns him a reputation amongst the other mothers in the neighborhood as a tutor-prostitute. Meanwhile, Zander (guest star Sterling Knight) and Lennox decide to skip college and drive around the country in a motor home - which doesn't sit well with "cool" Aunt Mel. And Ryder introduces his vegan girlfriend to the joys of meat.

Melissa Peterman, who plays Bonnie Wheeler on ABC Family's original comedy series "Baby Daddy," will be chatting live via her Twitter handle @Followtheblonde during the East Coast broadcast of an all-new episode of the series airing on Wednesday, August 21st, at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT. Fans should tweet at Melissa's handle and include the hashtag #BabyDaddyChat to ask her questions. In the hilarious new episode titled "All Riled Up," Tucker and Danny bail on movie night and Riley and Ben are left alone for the night. Based on her body language, Ben ends up thinking Riley is into him. Riley, thinking it's never going to happen with Ben, asks him to help her find the perfect man. Ben devises a plan to set Riley up on a disastrous date where he'll pick up the pieces, but it threatens to backfire. Meanwhile, Bonnie and Tucker enter a contest to become the new NY Rangers mascot and perfect a routine as the "Rangeroos," in full kangaroo costumes.

"Melissa and Joey" stars Melissa Joan Hart, Joey Lawrence, Taylor Spreitler and Nick Robinson, and is executive-produced by Bob Young & David Kendall, Paula Hart, Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence.

"Baby Daddy" follows Ben (Jean-Luc Bilodeau), a young man in his early 20s living the life of a bachelor as a bartender in New York City with his buddy, Tucker (Tahj Mowry), and his brother, Danny (Derek Theler), a professional hockey player. Their lives are turned upside down when they come home one day to find a baby girl left on the doorstep by an ex-girlfriend of Ben's. After much deliberation, Ben decides to raise the baby with the help of his friends and his protective and sometimes over-bearing mother, Bonnie (Melissa Peterman), and his close female friend, Riley (Chelsea Kane), who has had a secret crush on him since childhood. Riley is hopeful that Ben will finally take notice, but she doesn't realize that Ben's brother, Danny, is harboring a secret crush on her.
