"TOP CHEF: LAST CHANCE KITCHEN" FROM BRAVO MEDIA AND MAGICAL ELVES WINS EMMY(R) AWARD FOR MULTIPLATFORM STORYTELLING
NEW YORK - August 22, 2013 - Bravo Media and production company Magical Elves remain leaders in the digital space as they received an Emmy(R) Award for Outstanding Creative Achievement in Interactive Media - Multiplatform Storytelling for "Last Chance Kitchen," the companion digital video series to the Emmy-Award Winning "Top Chef." Entries for this award were evaluated by a jury panel of domain experts in each area and were awarded an Emmy based on individual excellence. The series, which currently ranks as the most-viewed web series in NBCUniversal history, is also nominated for two awards to be announced at the Creative Arts ceremony on September 15: Outstanding Special Class - Short-Format Nonfiction Program, and Outstanding Interactive Program. The juried award for Multiplatform Storytelling reflects the Television Academy's commitment to recognize not only traditionally formatted content, but second screen experiences and cutting edge programming. On the brink of its third season, "Last Chance Kitchen," sponsored by Toyota and hosted by Tom Colicchio, brings together two eliminated chef'testants on a digital platform to compete for redemption and a spot in the "Top Chef" finale.
