By The Futon Critic Staff (TFC)

LOS ANGELES (thefutoncritic.com) -- TV Land has pulled the plug on its Fran Drescher-led comedy "Happily Divorced" after two seasons, Deadline.com reports.

The show dropped a few ticks between its spring and winter cycles, finishing in the bottom half of the network's most recent scripted efforts. Fran Drescher and Peter Marc Jacobsen created the series, only the second in the genre nixed by the cable channel to date ("Retired at 35" being the first).

TV Land's most recent primetime comedy averages (in millions):
1.312 - "Hot in Cleveland: Season 4.1" (375,000 adults 18-49)

0.529 - "Retired at 35: Season 2" (153,000 adults 18-49)*
