Castillo's Duties Kick-Off At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week With Behind-The-Scenes Segments

NEW YORK - September 5, 2013 - Oxygen Media announced today that actress, model, and television host Susie Castillo has been named as the on-air network personality. In her new role, Castillo will engage Oxygen consumers and build brand awareness providing coverage of all things relevant to young women in pop-culture and participating in multiple social media initiatives for the network. Castillo will bring Oxygen viewers behind-the-scenes content from the network's various programming such as hosting live "After Shows" and "Cast Chats." She will kick-off her duties at New York Fashion Week, hosting coverage of the week's events from runway shows to red carpet parties that will be available on Oxygen.com and the network's social sites. In addition, Castillo will be moderating a GOOGLE+ Hangout on Tuesday, September 10 at 7 PM ET for the highly anticipated premiere of the network's new docu-series "Preachers of L.A." She can currently be seen on Oxygen.com hosting exclusive interviews with the cast from the empowering series "My Big Fat Revenge."

She will be providing backstage coverage from runway shows including, Pamella Roland, Steven Alan, Brandon Sun. and Milly by Michelle Smith. The segments will introduce Susie to Oxygen viewers and offer sponsorship opportunities for advertisers. In addition, Susie will provide live coverage that will be available exclusively on Oxygen's social networks such as Twitter and Instagram, and her coverage will be aggregated for fans at http://susie-castillo.oxygen.com.
