"Mighty Med" chronicles the adventures of two teenage best friends Kaz (played by Perry) and Oliver (played by Short) who land after school jobs of a lifetime at Mighty Med, a secret hospital for superheroes, sci-fi and fantasy characters. Without powers of their own and known as "Normos," these two seemingly ordinary boys must learn to navigate their way through two colliding worlds, with the help of superhero Skylar Storm and the Chief of Staff's meddling nephew Alan Diaz. The boys' friendship and vast knowledge of superheroes, sci-fi and fantasy worlds give them the extraordinary power to become heroes themselves and save the people who save people.

Also starring are newcomer Paris Berelc as Skylar Storm and Devan Leos ("Madea's Witness Protection") as Alan. Recurring are identical twins Jason and Randy Sklar ("ESPN's Cheap Seats: Without Ron Parker") as Clyde and Wallace, respectively, and Carlos Lacamara ("The Brothers Garcia") as Horace.

The series was created by Emmy Award-nominee Jim Bernstein (Disney's "Phineas and Ferb") and Andy Schwartz ("Scrubs"). Emmy Award-nominee Stephen Engel (Disney Channel's "A.N.T. Farm," "The Big Bang Theory") and Bernstein serve as executive producers and Schwartz serves as supervising producer.
