Barracuda Will Focus on Development and Production of Premium Domestic and International Unscripted Programming

New York, NY--(September 18, 2013)--Multimedia entertainment studio Electus, an operating business of IAC (Nasdaq: IACI), has announced that it has partnered with Barry Poznick, the former co-CEO of Zoo Productions, to back the creation of a new television production company, Barracuda Television Productions. The company will focus on developing and producing premium domestic and international unscripted programming. The company is based in Los Angeles.

As co-CEO and founder of Zoo Productions, Poznick has created and produced dozens of hits TV shows airing in more than 150 countries around the world including Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?, Buckwild and the #1 show on The Hub, Family Game Night. Additionally, Poznick has also hosted OWN's Are You Normal, America?.

"We're so pleased to partner with Barry in his new venture," said Electus CEO Chris Grant. "He is one of a kind and our combined talents and resources are absolutely ideal complements. As Electus continues to focus on high quality content for both the domestic and the global marketplace Barracuda was a must have for us."

Under Poznick's leadership, Zoo Productions also produced shows for NBC, MTV, TLC, GSN, Spike TV, CMT, TV Land and Oxygen.
