OXYGEN MEDIA LAUNCHES TV EVERYWHERE AS PART OF LARGER COMPANY ROLL-OUT ACROSS NBCUNIVERSAL

Oxygen Unveils TVE On Its Site, As Well As On New App "Oxygen NOW" on iPad and iPhone and Available On Android In October

NEW YORK - September 19, 2013 - Oxygen Media announced today the launch of TV Everywhere, giving fans unprecedented access to its original content the day after air - anywhere, anytime, on any device. Oxygen fans will be able to access their favorite original series via www.OxygenNow.com and "Oxygen NOW," a new app for iPhone and iPad, which derives its name from the "Bravo Now" app. The launch of "Oxygen NOW" joins "USA NOW" and "Syfy NOW" in the app store and marks an important step in NBC Universal's long-term strategy to provide both viewers and marketers a user-friendly way to engage with its content on multiple platforms. "Oxygen NOW" will be available for Android devices in October.

"Oxygen is a social media trendsetter and leader in engaging modern, young women, so it was natural for us to tap into this latest app to give fans a deeper level of interactivity around our hit shows," said Harleen Kahlon, Senior Vice President of Digital, Oxygen Media. "The launch of 'Oxygen NOW' offers viewers new ways they can connect and share our unique original content at home and on the go."

Oxygen Media's TV Everywhere will include a powerful offering of streamed episodes, and will give viewers the ability to sign-up for notifications on the latest updates about newly available content and social activations. Fans will be able to watch premiere episodes from Oxygen's portfolio of original series including "My Big Fat Revenge," "Preachers of L.A.," "The Face," "Best Ink," "Snapped" and "Bad Girls Club," all available just one day after the linear premiere.

Upcoming phases of Oxygen's TV Everywhere roll-out will incorporate a live linear TV stream, integrated second-screen and interactive TV capabilities, advanced social networking opportunities, and new personalization features.

"Oxygen is the latest in a steady stream of NBCUniversal's valued cable networks to offer their fans TV Everywhere with Oxygen NOW," said Ron Lamprecht, Executive Vice President, Business Development, NBCUniversal Digital Distribution. "This is yet another example of the company's commitment to engage viewers with quality content on multiple platforms."

TV Everywhere is available on an authenticated basis to subscribers of participating MVPDs. Fans can access long-form content through Oxygen's digital touchpoints on PCs, mobile devices, tablets and may also be able to access through the apps and websites of participating cable, satellite, and telco services, via "TV Everywhere," including, Armstrong, AT&T U-verse(R) TV, Cablevision's Optimum TV, Charter, Comcast's Xfinity TV, DISH, Mediacom, RCN, Suddenlink, Verizon FiOS, and Wide Open West (WOW). The network expects to add other MVPDs in the coming weeks.

Oxygen Media is a leading force in engaging young women on multiple platforms with popular, award winning initiatives. The network recently announced an initiative with Instagram to bring exclusive, never-before-seen content from the network's original shows including "Best Ink" season three, "The Face" season two and "Bad Girls Club" Miami to the "@oxygenmedia" Instagram account, giving fans a fun, intimate and behind-the-scenes look into their favorite series. In April, Oxygen also began integrating animated GIFs from popular social blogging platform Tumblr into the original programming schedule with tattoo competition series "Best Ink." The network hosts live GIF parties on Tumblr to accompany original programming including "The Face," "Best Ink," and "BGC." Earlier this year, Oxygen launched the first-ever live Google + Hangout during a reality broadcast with "The Face." In addition, Oxygen in association with Bunim/Murray Productions and Youtoo Technologies offered a unique opportunity for fans to record a ten-second video in response to three questions posed for a chance to see their own video air live on TV within the three-part reunion.

Oxygen Media partnered with Bottle Rocket which specializes in building custom, high-end mobile apps, to design "Oxygen NOW" for iOS and Android.
