Global music powerhouses Kelly Clarkson and will.i.am will announce the 2013 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS(R) nominations in 5 categories LIVE on-air from ABC's Good Morning America on Thursday, October 10, 2013, during the 8:30 AM ET hour. This marks the first time that the nominations will be announced LIVE from New York City. Immediately following GMA, Clarkson and will.i.am will reveal the nominations in all categories at a press conference at B.B. King's Blues Club & Grill in New York.

2013 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS(R) nominations will be presented in the genres of Pop/Rock, Alternative Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Adult Contemporary, Contemporary Inspirational, Latin and EDM as well as in categories for New Artist of the Year and Artist of the Year.

THE AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS(R) ceremony, produced by dick clark productions, will broadcast LIVE from L.A. LIVE's Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 24TH (8:00 - 11:00 p.m. ET/PT) on ABC.

Coverage of the AMA press conference will stream LIVE on TheAMAs.com. All media will also have the ability to feature the live stream on their sites through an embeddable Livestream video player (available HERE) or on their Facebook brand pages through a customizable Facebook App (available HERE). All media will have access to an AMA nomination 'social media toolkit' for optimized social media coverage of the event.
