Starz Adds Lela Loren, Naturi Naughton and Joseph Sikora to "Power" Cast

New Cast Members Join Lead Omari Hardwick as Series Regulars in STARZ Original Drama Series From Executive Producer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and Creator Courtney Kemp Agboh

Beverly Hills, Calif., October 22, 2013 - Starz has added Lela Loren (Snitch, "Gang Related"), Naturi Naughton (Fame, "The Client List," "Mad Men") and Joseph Sikora (Jack Reacher, Safe, "Boardwalk Empire") to the cast of the upcoming hour-long STARZ Original drama series "Power" executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and created by Courtney Kemp Agboh ("The Good Wife"), who will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Mark Canton (300, 300: Rise of an Empire, Escape Plan), Randall Emmett (End of Watch, 2 Guns, Lone Survivor) and David Knoller ("Big Love," "Carnivale") serve as executive producers in association with CBS Television Studios.

Lela Loren joins the cast as Angela Valdes, an old flame of lead Omari Hardwick's James "Ghost" St. Patrick who unexpectedly reenters his life. Naturi Naughton will play Tasha St. Patrick, wife, confidant and willing accomplice to James. Joseph Sikora joins the cast as Tommy Egan, childhood best friend and business partner to "Ghost."

"Power" tells the story of wealthy New York City nightclub owner, James "Ghost" St. Patrick, who caters to the city's elite. He wants to build an empire, turn the club into a Fortune 500 business, but there's just one problem: he is living a double life. When he is not in the club, he is the kingpin of the most lucrative drug network in New York for a very high-level clientele. His marriage, family and business all become unknowingly threatened as he is tempted to leave his criminal life behind and become the rags-to-riches businessman he wants to be most of all.

Lela Loren is known for her role in Summit Entertainment's Snitch where she starred alongside Dwayne Johnson, Susan Sarandon, Jon Bernthal and Benjamin Bratt; her recurring guest star role on "The Shield" and guest starring roles on "NCIS," "Lost," "The Mentalist," and "The Closer" among many others. She will also star in the 2014 drama series "Gang Related." Loren is rep'd by Inspire Entertainment and SDB Partners.

Multi-talented Naturi Naughton is known for her role in MGM's Fame where she starred alongside Kelsey Grammer, Debbie Allen and Megan Mullally; Fox Searchlight's Notorious starring opposite Angela Bassett and Derek Luke, "The Client List," "Mad Men," beloved comedy "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and she also starred in the Broadway production of "Hairspray" as Lil Inez for three years. Naughton is rep'd by Innovative Artists and Luber Roklin Entertainment.

Joseph Sikora has an extended resume in both television and film, he was most recently seen in Paramount's Jack Reacher opposite Tom Cruise, Rosamund Pike, Richard Jenkins and Robert Duvall, Lionsgate's Safe opposite Jason Statham, "Boardwalk Empire" and he will be seen in the upcoming crime drama "True Detective" opposite Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. "Power" will begin production on an eight hour-long episode first season this fall and is expected to premiere on STARZ in 2014. Starz retains all global distribution and home entertainment rights to the series.
