Ovation Announces New Premiere Date for "The Fashion Fund"

Move to January 22nd Invites Time Warner Cable Customers to Watch the Ground-Breaking Fashion Series

Santa Monica, CA - October 24, 2013 - Ovation, America's only arts network, today announced a change in the premiere date for The Fashion Fund - January 22 at 10PM ET. The announcement was made by Robert Weiss, Ovation's Chief Creative Officer.

"Ovation is excited to bring The Fashion Fund to Time Warner Cable customers this January, when our network re-launches across Time Warner Cable markets," said Weiss. "It's critical that fashion-loving cities such New York, Los Angeles, Dallas, Orlando and many others have the opportunity to see this ground-breaking original series. Come January 22, I think everyone will realize this series is worth waiting for!"

The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund is in its 10th year and has transformed emerging designers into true fashion icons. Working alongside some of the top names in fashion, ten innovative, American-based designers, compete for the top award that carries an incredible $300,000 grant and a one-year mentorship with an industry titan. The CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund selection committee is comprised of iconic names from Anna Wintour and Diane von Furstenberg to top-level fashion executives such as Ken Downing of Neiman Marcus, Andrew Rosen of Theory, Jenna Lyons of J.Crew, and more.

In The Fashion Fund, viewers are given exclusive access into the fashion world as they journey into the lives of the emerging designers. We get to know the designers as their visions, technical abilities, and business acumen are all tested - pushing them to their highest potential. The series takes viewers inside legendary studio visits, a Vogue fashion photo shoot and culminates with a presentation at NYC Fashion Week and the announcement of the 2013 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund winner.

The series is produced by Condé Nast Entertainment, Break Thru Films and Ovation.

Season One of The Fashion Fund is comprised of six one-hour episodes. Ovation will offer a special sneak peek on Wednesday, November 20, at 10:30PM ET. The series will make its official debut on Wednesday, January 22 at 10pm ET with episodes airing weekly.
