BLOCKBUSTER MOVIES JOIN DELICIOUS DISHES WHEN ALLISON DEMARCUS HOSTS "REEL EATS" PREMIERING NOVEMBER 12 ON CMT

REEL EATS Combines Popular Movies with Tasty Dishes, Celebrity Interviews and More

NASHVILLE - November 1, 2013 - CMT is mixing up something good in the kitchen with the all-new series REEL EATS, hosted by CMT correspondent Allison DeMarcus, premiering Tuesday, November 12 at 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m., ET/PT. Paired with select CMT movies, the bi-weekly show will include a featured recipe prepared by DeMarcus, along with trivia and cooking segments, interviews with country's favorite stars, the latest Hollywood and country music news, viewer mail and more.

On each episode of REEL EATS, the lovable DeMarcus will present delicious, easy-to-prepare recipes that viewers can recreate in their own kitchens. Good food will be paired with good company as country artists drop by for an interview, and of course a bite to eat. To spice things up in the kitchen, DeMarcus will also welcome notable chefs to demonstrate their culinary expertise.

In the premiere episode, featuring the movie "Ghostbusters," DeMarcus whips up "Miss Caron's Pizza Casserole," a recipe that was passed down from her mother-in-law. DeMarcus prepares the dish often for her husband, Rascal Flatt's bassist Jay DeMarcus, so there's no surprise when he makes a special appearance to serve as the official taste tester.
